Dear Families,
World Book Day is around the corner and, this year, is being held on Thursday 2nd March. World Book Day is a wonderful opportunity to promote the love and fun of reading. We are inviting all of our children to come into school dressed as their favourite book character.
We wanted to give our families as much notice as possible so that costumes can be borrowed, bought or made.
There will be Reading themed activities throughout the day including reading around the school – where pupils chose an adult and book they would like to listen to. Awards and prizes will also be given out to the best dressed and creative costumes.
