About our Pre-school
We would like to welcome you and your family to Brixham Church of England Pre-school. At Brixham C of E Pre-School we believe that the children and adults flourish in a happy, caring and well-structured environment and we aim to provide every child with a high-quality early childhood experience.
Your child’s development and happiness is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that children learn best through their play and exploration. We aim to nurture your child’s curiosity and to inspire their learning through exciting and engaging activities which expand their knowledge and skills while developing conscientious attitudes to learning.
Parents are their child’s first educators and we aim to create a strong partnership with you and your child which we will continue to nurture and support during your time with us.
Our Pre-school is part of the Academy for Character and Excellence and therefore we are committed to achieving excellence, being innovative, sharing our talents and always striving to be the best version of ourselves.
Here at Brixham C of E Pre-School we offer 3-4 year olds up to 30 hours of early education during term times with two Pre-school Managers and two fantastic Learning Support Assistants. If your child is about to turn 3 or they already have, then you are very welcome to come and visit. Please contact our office to arrange this on 01803 882575. Alternatively email the school on admin.brixham@acexcellence.co.uk
Our Mission and Values
Mission – We want your child to thrive in our care
Vision – To be the Pre-School of choice
Values – Uncompromising Excellence, Partnership, Aspiration, Equity
We offer an engaging and stimulating curriculum enabling children to develop a life-long love of learning and an appreciation of the world around them. We aim to empower children by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems, building their confidence whilst learning through play.
Each child is unique and our staff are professionally trained to identify each child’s strengths and adapt plans to support their developing needs. We promote cultural values and support positive relationships and respectful interactions.
We believe a stable, safe, healthy and culturally relevant environment is crucial to a child's development, and we work together with parents and carers to provide the very best possible start to a child's education.
