Our PE session is on a Tuesday afternoon. Please send children in their PE kit for the whole day.

Forest School

We will be visiting Forest School on Wednesday mornings. Please send your child equipped for the weather and prepared to get muddy.

Home learning

Reading is the priority for home learning in Reception. As your child's phonic knowledge develops, they will bring home reading to practise these sounds. Reading books will be changed weekly.

Learning Enquiry

We have a festive theme to finish the year with our Geography learning enquiry, 'How can a map help us find our lost letter?'. Father Christmas is so pleased to hear how we are all showing determination, that he writes straight back to us. Unfortunately, the letter has gone missing somewhere around our school. We will use clues and our mapping skills to track it down. This will take lots of determination!

In RWE we are learning about different celebrations focusing on how Christians prepare and celebrate Christmas.
