PE
Our PE session is on a Monday afternoon. Please send children in their PE kit for the whole day.

Forest School
With the terrible weather we have been having, we will delay our visits to Forest School for a while.

Home learning
Reading is the priority for home learning in Reception. As your child's phonic knowledge develops, they will bring home reading to practise these sounds. Reading books will be changed weekly.
Please leave a comment in your child's reading diary.
Learning Enquiry
We start 2026 by finishing our Geography learning enquiry, 'How can a map help us find our lost letter?' We will go around the school searching for our lost letter from Father Christmas, asking questions and creating a map to show where we have looked.
Our History enquiry is 'Why are memories important?'. We will remind ourselves of what the past, present and future mean and remember special memories of our own. We will then ask our parents about a memory from their childhood and create a timeline. Our outcome will be to create a memory box.
RWE
In RWE we are learning about why the word 'God is so important to Christians.
