What are we learning?

In Autumn 2,  we will be focusing on being Scientists. During this learning journey we will be learning how to plan and carry out an investigation. We will be learning all about the seasons and the weather patterns that come with them. We will be creating a weather diary and will be looking for patterns and trends. After this learning journey we will be thinking like geographers. We will be following clues to find parts of our missing letter and will record the journey of finding the letter on a map. In RWE we are learning about the life of Abigail, who is a little girl who is Jewish. She is teaching us all about what it is like to be Jewish and how they live.

 

PE

Year 1 have PE on Monday and Tuesday. Children can come into school wearing their PE kits on this day.

Forest School

Every Wednesday afternoon we will go to forest school. Children to come in wearing appropriate shoes and clothing.

Home learning

A home learning letter will be handed out every Friday, which includes: key dates for your diary, reading, phonics and maths.
