What are we learning?

In Spring 1,  we will be finishing off our Geography learning journey to start. We will be searching for our lost letter from Father Christmas around Brixham and tracking our journey on a map. Next we will be being Historians and looking at the local history of the RNLI in Brixham. We are going to go on a trip to visit the lifeboat station and see the Lifeboat, which we are really excited about. We will be creating a timeline with key facts written alongside images of the Brixham lifeboat throughout history as our outcome.  In RWE, we are learning about what Christians believe God is like and are making connections to our school ethos and character traits. 

 

PE

Year 1 have PE on Monday and Tuesday. Children can come into school wearing their PE kits on this day.

Forest School

We will be going to forest school regularly in Spring 2. Children to come in wearing appropriate shoes and clothing.

Home learning

A home learning letter will be handed out every Friday, which includes: key dates for your diary, reading, phonics and maths.
