Learning Enquiry 

​We will start this half-term with an art learning enquiry focussing on Autumn and the changes that happen at this time of year. We will then move onto a science enquiry which will focus on the senses and the human body. Year one and year two will have targeted objectives bespoke to their age range and will have a different outcome.

Maths

In Maths, we are starting with place value and then moving onto addition and subtraction. Maths will be taught through a range of independent maths challenges and activities with targeted guided groups with teacher inputs. Year one and year two will have targeted objectives bespoke to their age range.

 

RWE

In RWE this half-term, our big question is: Who is Muslim and how do they live? During this we will be learning about what it is like to be a Muslim through a range of creative activities. 

 

PE

Sea Turtles have PE on Monday afternoon. Children can come into school wearing their PE kits on this day.

Forest School

We will be going to forest school every Friday afternoon.

Home learning

A home learning letter for each half-term will be posted on Dojo on the first Friday of the half-term. This includes, QR codes to phonics videos on the RWI portal, a maths focus and a prompt for book reviews.
