I’m over-the-moon to have the opportunity to join Brixham C of E Primary School and move my family to this beautiful area of the world. Since arriving, everyone has been so welcoming, showing me how close and supportive this community is.

I have been teaching for the last 14 years, working across the whole primary age range, from EYFS to Year 6. Currently, I am teaching in Year 1, where I’m extremely interested in building the play-based learning from Early Years into the Year 1 curriculum, as well as ensure the children are ready to make that transition to more formal based learning for the rest of their school journey. As well as teaching in Year 1, I will be responsible for leading Key Stage 1 and EYFS, as well as the teaching of Maths across the school.

Outside of school, I love my sports. I’m a big football and rugby fan and can be found at various live matches as often as possible with my family and friends. You’ll also find me at the front of the queue at the comic book shop each time a new Batman story is released!
