Hello all. This half Term we will be starting our Learning Journey with Science looking at Rocks and the rock cycle with a permeability test. For the Second learning Journey we will be looking at Geography and what an OS Map is and what it shows us. We will then look closely and analyse about how people may live in that particular area based on the information from the map. Brixham and celebrating our local, natural beauty. From this we will then travel back in time to our next learning journey on the Stone age with a focus on how people lived, such as homes, settlements, food and everyday life. In maths, we will be looking at addition and subtraction and ending the year with Multiplication and division. Within our RE lessons, we will begin to explore in greater depth the Jewish faith and their celebrations, festivals and ways of worship. Year 3 will also start French this year and I know - from experience - how exciting and fun they will find this.
