Year 3 have PE on Friday. Children can come into school wearing their PE kits on these days.​​​​

Home learning

Children will be sent home with homework which will include; spellings, reading and a maths or English activity that will support the learning in class that week.​

Reading

Please encourage your child to read to an adult and use Blackbelt reader regularly throughout the week and check their understanding by asking questions about the text.

Multiplication Facts

Use Times Tables Rock Stars to practise times tables fluency.

Spellings

Every week, your child will be given a list of spellings using a common patterns or from the Year 3/4 statutory spelling list to practise. These will be tested every Friday.

Hello all. This half Term we will be starting our Learning Journey with History and a focus on the Roman invasion and Boudica. We will look at how successful the Battle of Watling Street was and how strategy was used. In maths, we will be looking at multiplication and will end the half term with a focus on fractions. Within our RE lessons, we will begin to explore in greater depth the Jewish faith and their celebrations, festivals and ways of worship.
