Fairtrade workshop

As part of Fairtrade fortnight, 9 children from Years 4, 5, and 6 explored how, without the fairtrade organisation, some farmers are exploited. The children played the role of various jobs involved in the cocoa/chocolate production line and considered how much of the cost of a chocolate bar they should each get. They then considered how they could encourage others to consider buying fairtrade foods.
