Nathan Hudson

I am thrilled to be joining Brixham C of E as a Year 2 classroom teacher and can’t wait to embark on this exciting journey with my students. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a school that values curiosity, growth, and a supportive learning environment.

Before qualifying as a teacher, my career took me down a slightly different path—I worked in tennis, where I developed a deep appreciation for discipline, perseverance, and teamwork, values that I now bring into my classroom. My teaching journey then led me to Thailand, where I spent 12 wonderful years teaching and immersing myself in a vibrant and diverse educational landscape. Moving back to the UK to complete my teaching qualifications was a significant step, allowing me to build on my experience and refine my approach to education.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family and staying active through sports. Whether it's playing, coaching, or simply enjoying a good match, sports have always been a big part of my life, teaching me valuable lessons that I now share with my students.
