Safeguarding and Support

Welcome to the child and adult safeguarding and support page. Here we have included some information and services for different safeguarding issues for both children and adults. Please see below for support services that may be able to help you with a number of different issues.

If you are concerned about a child at Brixham C of E Primary school, or a parent, please contact Mrs Nelson (Designated Safeguarding Lead) or Miss Tyrrell (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead), either on 01803 882575 during school hours, or the school mobile on 07542521115 out of school hours. Alternatively email the school safeguarding email account on safeguarding@brixhamcofe.org .

Nationally, there has been a rise in the cases of domestic abuse. With restrictions on movement and fewer places open and the ability to find a safe place has reduced. Our school remains a safe place for anybody who needs us. We can be emailed or called to signpost someone in the right direction, or provide a safe place for someone to make a phone call themselves. Despite the lockdown, many agencies that support are still operational, see below.
